K.O.G tour dates in France
As I prepare to travel to France this January, I feel a familiar sense of excitement. France has always welcomed the music with open ears, and returning there feels less like a visit and more like continuing a conversation that has been unfolding over time. Each city carries its own rhythm, its own way of listening, and I’m looking forward to stepping back into that exchange.
These two shows, on consecutive nights, feel like part of a flowing journey. Different places, different energies — but connected by the same spirit, moving forward and meeting me where I am now.
16 January — Vacarme Exquis, Bourg-lès-Valence
K.O.G & Aziza – Live Music
The first night brings me to Vacarme Exquis in Bourg-lès-Valence, where I’ll be performing alongside Aziza. This is the kind of setting I value deeply — intimate, grounded, and led by rhythm. Voices sit beside percussion, kalimba, conga, and bass, allowing the music to unfold naturally.
I’m drawn to spaces like this because they invite presence. The soundsystem creates a bridge between tradition and the present moment, where live instrumentation and modern energy move together. When the audience is close, the exchange becomes real. The music stops being something I perform and becomes something we shape together in the room.
These are the nights where listening matters just as much as playing.
17 January — Altitude Jazz Festival, L’Argentière-la-Bessée
K.O.G Soundsystem
The following day, the journey continues to the mountains for the Altitude Jazz Festival. There is something powerful about bringing sound into a place shaped by space, silence, and landscape. The air feels different, and so does the listening.
Although my sound isn’t traditional jazz, it shares the same spirit — freedom, improvisation, and trust in the moment. Bringing the K.O.G Soundsystem into this festival feels like adding another voice to an ongoing conversation, one rooted in rhythm, movement, and shared energy.
Performing here feels like a moment of alignment — the music meeting an audience that values depth, exploration, and live expression.
What These Nights Represent
These two nights reflect something I’m learning to trust more and more:
That different spaces reveal different parts of the same music
That intimacy and scale can carry the same truth
That live performance is a shared act, shaped by everyone present
For me, this journey is about staying connected — to rhythm, to people, and to the unseen thread that carries the music forward. Each show is an offering, shaped by the room, the moment, and the energy we create together.
I’m grateful to return to France and share this music once again, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it leads.
