The Representative of Afro-futurism based in London based in London, the vocalist Oni, is actively working under the name "Pura Vida". This is his third solo album and he has produced it himself taking on all the DJ work. The album is characterized by fast paced rhythms that resonate deeply with the heart, backed by King Ayisobas stream of conciousness and energetic flow. From there, Oni's unique perspective breaks through the conventions of Afro futurism.

In tracks like "Foriwah" and Application (Interlude), Guest artist Ogunskele showcases his electric guitar phrasing creating a sharp contrast with the hazy elctronic loops. Compared to traditional jazz, UK jazz brings a fresher sound, full of affection for afrobeat. Tracks like "Live for Today" and "Cry your own" have a colourful, mutlidimensional feel, showing influences from Ghana, Europe and more. This Album heralds a new wave revival in the Afrofuturism scene. - Music Magazine, Japan.
